Hello there, I have been collecting Cinderella Stamps for more than sixty years and have a fine collection, running in to 100's of thousands.. With the late Ted Jenson, of Fireside Local Post, and Wayne Martel, we founded the Local Post Society which is still going strong. I was its first President and first life member and, of course, its first member. I am Member 1L1! I was the author of the "Some Curious Weeds" series of articles on cinderella stamps, which ran in Linn's Weekly Stamp News from 1963 to 1970. I am a member of the Cinderella Stamp Group, the British Matchox and Label Society, the Railway Philatelic Group, Alba and the Parcel Stamp Study Group, of Norway. I run the Foundling Exchange Club for Cinderella Exchanges. See link on this page. I am Scottish or British...nothing else. I live in Central Scotland at Dunipace, seven miles from Stirling, the ancient Capital of Scotland. Anyone who degrades these United Kingdoms by calling them "england" need not contact me. I do not wish to have anything to do with uneducated buffoons! I have a superb collection of Parcel Delivery Stamps of Great Britain and Ireland and write on the subject in the Bulletin of the Parcel Stamp Study Group of Norway. Write to Geir Sor-Reime for details at Haugliveien 10, NO-4020, Stavanger, Norw. Ask him also about the Norwegian Revenues Study Group. You may offer me old collections of Cinderella Stamps. I seek also toy stamps from old children's toy post office sets. I have duplicates for trade. Check the prices similar items fetch on ebay auctions! Email me and visit Cinderella Finder. See links. If you really want some lovely cinderella items, then Email Gerry King at [email protected]. You won't be disappointed. I was instrumental in my late good friend, Paul Gapp, founding the Samuel Allan Taylor Society and I was its first member and its first honorary life member. I am the author of many handbooks and pamphlets, including "The Postal Strike in Scotland", "Poster Stamps of the British Industrial Exhibitions", "Lord Roberts Labels", etc etc. and have assisted many authors with information. Database held with many snippets of information. I am also compiling a proper Catalogue of British Commemorative Poster Stamps If interested in a Cinderella X-change circle, first join the Revenue-Stamp Group, then Email your request to me, with cinderella interests. See my lots on Ebay. Search for seller "chalmerston". David M. Stirling, Genealogist & Historian. |

There are more than six million items in the Foundling Exchange Pool. Much of
this material was obtained in the good old days, and much is now
unobtainable. Amongst the mass you can find the remainder stock of Oliver
of Edinburgh's Church of Scotland Reward Stamps. There are also WWI red cross labels by Dulac and by Brangwyn. There are bus stamps, railway stamps, poster stamps, postal strike stamps, forgeries, fakes, phantoms, fictitious countries, modern and ancient local posts, street collection flags, banknotes, toy postage stamps. |
If you don't like my
